Andreu Mas-Colell, Michael D. Whinston and Jerry Green, Microeconomic Theory, Oxford University Press, 1995をテキストとし，この講義においてはCh.12: Market Power, Ch.13: Adverse Selection, Signaling, and Screening, Ch. 14: The Principal-Agent Problem, Ch. 23: Incentives and Mechanism Design を中心に取り上げる。
