(Global Environmental Issues and Actors)
This course is offered in English.
By attending this course, you will understand what’s happening on global environment and how important they are to our economy, health and future generations. I will focus on the actors, such as firms, governments and consumers and explain their roles. Then move on to selected issues; First, climate change (including international as well as domestic policies and measures), second, waste minimization focusing on EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), and, if time allows, compatibility of free trade and environment.
