Part III Contemporary topics
- Chapter 12 US ― Japan economic conflicts
- Chapter 13 The distribution system
- Chapter 14 Asset prices;land and equities
Lectures will be based on chapters of this text. Students must submit a report on the chapter to be discussed each week.They should thus familiarise themselves with the topic before coming to class.
The book can be ordered from any major foreign book store in Japan (around 9,000 yen).It should be noted that it takes up to six months for books ordered overseas to reach Japan.Several photocopies of the text will be on reserve at the library.
Evaluation is by class participation and an essay at the end of term.
